Sharing the success

Development partnerships are often the perfect way to share expenses and achieve related goals more quickly and more effectively. As specialists, the various partners complement one another’s capabilities and experience. All can then take credit for success – the local employer, the partner in cooperation, and CIM, which pursues the development policy goals of the German Government.

CIM has expanded cooperation not only among governmental and civil society organisations over the past years: since the mid-1990s, increased cooperation with Germany’s private sector in the form of public-private partnerships has also proved its worth. Here, too, everyone is pulling together: German industry, the local employer and CIM. “It is a genuine win-win situation,” says Wolfgang Sage of DaimlerChrysler about the cooperation with CIM in Mongolia. “It would be financially unrealistic to hire a head of training in Mongolia for such a small market. But with CIM, we can share the expense – and support the Mongolian Technical University with practical training and qualifying experts beyond the scope of our own particular needs.”

In the sidebar, you can find further examples of cooperation, contacts, and an overview of our clients and partners in cooperation.
