Malawi

CIM concentrates in Malawi on the health sector, one of three development policy priority areas agreed between Germany and Malawi.

Cooperation with Malawi will continue to focus on supporting the health system. To this end, CIM places medical specialists in hospitals to contribute to improvements in management as well as therapeutic and preventive medicine. They also support the efforts of the Malawian Government and international donors to combat HIV/AIDS.

GIZ supports CIM in the implementation of its programmes on the ground and cooperates closely with CIM’s experts in the health sector.
