CIM’s strategic activities in India take place mainly in the development policy priority areas agreed between India and Germany. These areas are:
- economic reform
- energy
- environmental policy, protection and sustainable use of natural resources.
GTZ supports CIM in the implementation of its programmes on the ground and cooperates closely with CIM experts.
With the Returning Experts Programme, CIM also supports, as it has for years, Indian experts returning to India after studying, undertaking vocational training or working in Germany. They work primarily in the health system or as engineers.
