CIM’s strategic activities in the Philippines take place mainly in the development policy priority areas agreed between the Philippines and Germany. These areas are:

• economic reform
• the health system
• environmental policy
• water.

CIM is working to intensify future cooperation in the Philippines, especially in reforming the economic system and in the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises.

GIZ supports CIM in the implementation of its programme on the ground and cooperates closely with CIM experts, for example, in the programmes

• Raw Water Management  
• Promotional Programme to Strengthen the Philippine Private Sector.
