Bosnia and Herzegovina

CIM’s strategic activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina take place mainly in the development policy priority areas agreed between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Germany. These areas are:

• support for economic reform and development of the market system, especially the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises 
• establishment and consolidation of the administration
• agriculture.

Additionally, CIM is working to promote democracy in this country recovering from civil war. We support measures to foster reconciliation among the different national ethnic groups.

In the Returning Experts Programme, CIM also supports experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina who plan to return there after their studies, vocational training or work assignments in Germany.
