CIM offers personal advice on job opportunities and career paths. Our service is aimed at those looking for career openings abroad or in their country of origin. Our experienced staff will answer your questions one on one, offer guidance and show you how and where you can find support.
At present, we have centres in Albania, Ghana, Kosovo, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal, Serbia and Tunisia. Their role is to provide information about job and training opportunities in the country and to organise job and career fairs. They also offer training for applicants to improve their chances in the labour market. For those who wish to find work or training in Germany, our advice centre staff can, for example, provide information on which sectors are currently looking to recruit skilled employees, which steps you need to follow when you arrive, and where you can find a language course. In this context, GIZ and ZAV regularly hold joint information and recruitment events geared to the needs of the national labour market.
GIZ and ZAV also offer advice and training for ministry and employment agency staff.
