Information Event “Your contribution to the development of Jordan and Palestine"

Many people from developing and emerging countries work or have completed their studies / vocational training in Germany. In an increasingly globalized world, migrants play an important role as bridge builders between countries. With their knowledge, their ideas, experiences and contacts they shape sustainable changes and support their countries of origin or the country of their parents to stay fit for the future.

In order to sign up, we ask you to register by e-mail to until May 20th, 2019. Please fill in the subject "Info Event Serbia" and add your current CV.

In Germany, according to an estimation by the Federal Government's Integration Commissioner, around 20.000 migrant organizations strengthen cultural cohesion and exchange through charitable activities. A big part of these associations is also involved in the country of origin and thus actively contributes to sustainable local development. They ensure the exchange of knowledge between their old and new homeland, stimulate innovation and contribute to improving the living conditions of local people.

The Center for International Migration and Development (CIM) sees great potential in this and specifically supports the involvement of students, graduates, professionals and members of migrant organizations from Jordan and Palestine and invites them to our information event:

Start on Friday June 21st at 6.00 PM - End on Sunday 23rd at 2.00 PM

Frankfurt am Main (the exact location will be communicated as soon as possible)

Cooperation with the Jordanian and Palestinian Diaspora, support for returnees, short term experts and internships in Jordan and Palestine The transport costs will be refunded and the accommodation is organized by CIM.

The event will be held mainly in German and Arabic. If needed, some English translations can be used.

We will evaluate your application by June 7th 2019. You will either receive a detailed invitation (program included), or be turned down. After having received the registrations, we will make a selection and you will receive a detailed invitation including a program or a cancellation. Please understand that, due to the limited number of seats, we cannot consider all interested parties.
