Return or stay: Country seminar Serbia

The Centre for International Migration and Development (CIM) offers the seminar “Return or Stay”, with a focus on Serbia. The workshop is open to students, graduates and professionals from Serbia (currently living in Germany), who are interested in working in their country of origin, either based on long-term contracts or with an interest in short-term assignments. CIM supports those expert missions (short & long-term) with advice, job placement and financial support. Furthermore, we offer financial support for voluntary projects, carried out by Serbian diaspora organisations based in Germany and with a partner organisation in Serbia.

Country seminar Serbia

In addition, we also promote candidates interested in achieving occupational integration into the German labour market, given to the lack of experts in this country. Thus, we want to provide the necessary information required in order to consider your options to return to Serbia or stay in Germany. You will find more information about our offers on Facebook: „Migracije i razvoj“.

Return or stay?

  • What comes next after studying? Return to my country of origin or work in Germany?
  • Under what conditions am I able to work in Germany, and what does German right of residence offer? What is the application procedure in Germany like?
  • Can I also be involved in the development of my country of origin if I stay in Germany?
  • What do I need to bear in mind if I return home, and what assistance does CIM provide?

These are some of the questions that we will be addressing at the seminar.
