The Centre for International Migration and Development (CIM) places returning experts with employers in developing countries and emerging economies. The term ‘returning expert’ refers to those who have gained technical or managerial skills through study and work in Germany and who then go on to use their knowledge and expertise in key positions in our partner countries. Based on your requirements, we can find suitable candidates through our local contacts and our links with universities and student associations. We advertise your vacancy and put suitable applicants in touch with you. Our goal is to help you, as a company or organisation, to find the right expert.

 CIM’s recruitment role

Working on behalf of the German Federal Government, CIM harnesses the potential that global migration offers for sustainable development. We place experts and managers with employers worldwide and advise our partners on migration issues. As a joint operation of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the International Placement Services (ZAV) of the German Federal Employment Agency, CIM has been successfully combining development know-how with job market expertise since 1980.
