IV. Meeting of Colombian, Peruvian and Ecuadorian scientists and researchers

Migrants are bridge builders between their home countries and the countries where they live and work. With their expertise, ideas, experiences and contacts they promote important changes and contribute to the sustainable development of their countries of origin. Many migrants work in academic and scientific field, facilitating the exchange of knowledge between different countries. A good number of migrants will eventually decide to return temporarily or permanently to their countries of origin and make their knowledge available to local organizations.
